Warranty
Simply put, if it's our fault (defects in materials and/or workmanship), we'll repair or replace it - anytime, anywhere. If it's your fault (Your wear & your tear) that's on you!
Legally Speaking
Best Made Designs, LLC ("BMD") warrants the products which it manufactures to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser ("Purchaser") of the product and is not transferable. Under this warranty, BMD will repair or replace, at its option, only the defective part of the product at no additional charge. Warranties for products marketed by BMD but not manufactured by BMD are subject to the manufacturer's warranty. Some products manufactured by BMD contain components not manufactured by BMD and in this case, the manufacturer's warranty applies to these components.
Warranty Return Process
1. Complete the Warranty Claim Form to request an RMA number before returning any gear.
2. Return only the defective portion of the product, shipping prepaid, to BMD
3. Be sure to include the following information:
- Proof-of-purchase/date
- Product name or description of part.
- Description of problem.
- Dealer you purchased the item from.
- Your name, address and daytime phone.
The Purchaser is responsible for insuring any product so returned and assumes the risk of loss during shipping. All replaced parts and products become the property of Best Made Designs, LLC. Dated proof-of-purchase must accompany the product being returned when requesting warranty work.
The Purchaser may request information on how to obtain warranty service by completing the Warranty Claim Form or emailing info@specopsbrand.com.

This limited warranty does not extend to any products which have been damaged as a result of accident, misuse, abuse or as a result of service or modification by anyone other than BMD. Except as expressly set forth above, no other warranties are expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and BMD expressly disclaims all warranties not stated herein. All implied warranties, including implied warranties for merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty. In the event the product is not free from defects as warranted above the purchaser's sole remedy shall be repair or replacement as provided above. Bought T.H.E. Pack in Spring 2004 and she’s been my EDC since. 22 years and counting. I reached out to Spec-Ops Brand with a waterproofing question, mostly because I didn’t want to do some boneheaded BS that could degraded my pack. I got a response in a couple hours. Did I mention I spent my money 22 years ago? I can’t get that level of support outta folks I bought from yesterday. Incredible pack, exemplary customer care. Whatever you got in the cart now, add some stuff, and then give these folks your money. You WILL NOT regret it! -Jeff
I bought this pack about 15 years ago and absolutely love it!
I recently broke the one buckle slamming it in the tailgate of a truck. As a long shot I reached out to customer service to see if I could purchase a replacement piece for it. To my surprise i actually received a phone call from customer service stating they tried to email me but is was undeliverable (I must have entered my email wrong) so they gave me a call. After a few quick questions I now have a new buckle being shipped to me for a pack I purchased 15 years ago. Thats what I call outstanding customer service! I would not hesitate to buy this pack again or recommend it to anyone looking for a great heavy duty pack!
I used one daily for 7 years and didn't have a fray or rip. It was just dirty. I got a different color when I changed uniforms and carried the other one daily for 5 years with the same experience. I carried food, water, and everything else in those packs. I basically lived from them day-to-day and they didn't let me down.
I used the frame in both. The combination is heavier than, let's say, a Maxpedition pack but it's also going to be more comfortable and last 3 times as long (from my experience).
After using a few brands, I wish I would have transitioned to Spec-Ops a lot sooner.
Bought this pack in 2009 before first deployment, have been using since then with moderately high frequency. If the quality is still the same now as it was then, it's worth every penny.
