About Us
Best Made Designs, LLC was founded July 9th, 1998, right in the heart of the west Texas oil patch by two entrepreneurs who were already veterans of the military & tactical equipment industry. While helping to pioneer the use of hands-free hydration for the U.S. military, they identified capability gaps in the gear that was available at the time to our warfighters, chief among them was organization of essential equipment. SPEC.-OPS.® Brand was launched on August 1st, 2000, with its first five products hitting the shelves at Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) stores on military installations worldwide shortly thereafter. Through our partnerships with Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Navy Exchange Command, Marine Corps Exchange, and our network of dedicated dealers we continue to provided equipment to U.S. Military personal at home and abroad in support of the Global War on Terror and subsequent military operations to this day.
We believe form follows function and every piece of gear we make comes from identifying a problem or a better way to do something and turning it into a product. Every product starts with real feedback from real working military & L.E. personnel, tradesmen, and outdoor professionals. Always built the right way, right here in the USA, since day one.
